Unlooping is the process of separating shared electricity supply cables between neighbouring homes. This upgrade gives each property its own dedicated electricity connection, improving safety, reliability, and capacity.
We’re proactively upgrading looped supplies to support the UK’s transition to net zero. This work ensures homes are ready for electric vehicles (EVs), heat pumps, solar panels, and other low carbon technologies. It also improves network resilience and supports future energy demands.
The project is being delivered by SP Electricity North West, with our trusted partners:
Opus Utility Solutions as appointed contractor
Ipsum as appointed contractor
