Environment & sustainability advisory panel

Environment & sustainability advisory panel

As the North West's network operator we play a vital role in the UK's transition to a low carbon economy. We are dedicated to reducing our own environmental impact and will support and advise our customers on how to reduce their environmental impact now and for the future.

As a sustainable business we want to ensure that we are doing everything possible to minimise our impact on our local communities, region and the UK. The Environment & Sustainability advisory panel consists of environment and sustainability experts, or experts in their field who provide advice, guidance and oversight of our sustainability performance, commitment to biodiversity and our environment report, and through this contribute towards delivering our Purpose to ‘Transform Our Communities’.

Chaired by our independent Chair, Todd Holden, the panel will help us deliver our role in the transition to low carbon  including, the delivery of our community and local energy strategy, inform our decisions on how we manage and alleviate our environmental impact within the region and provide feedback on relevant environmental issues that they feel should be a priority for us as a business to deliver.

The feedback from the panel will drive our business decisions and internal activity to ensure that we are delivering the best for our environment, customers and communities now and in the future.
