Our Systems

Electricity North West Ltd is a regulated business so when we source goods, works and services with a contract value above the OJEU threshold, we ensure that we offer as much transparency as possible. To help us do this we use third-party systems such as Achilles UVDB to advertise our tender opportunities, alongside Medius to manage the tender process.

Achilles UVDB is our pre-qualification system which is a paid for service and allows you to access both our tendering opportunities and other tendering opportunities in the utility industry.

Medius is our e-tendering portal. We use this system to conduct all of our tenders for contract values above and below the OJEU threshold. Medius allows us to run our tenders consistently, fairly and transparently. You cannot access Medius unless you have expressed an interest in a tender exercise via Achilles UVDB or you have been invited to register.
